# Message and call your agents

You work with an agent the way you would with a colleague: in its chat, or on a call.

## Messages

Type in the message field, or dictate. Give the agent the outcome you want, what matters, and where it should check with you. It replies as it works and tells you when it's done.

- **Mention an agent** by name to point it out to another agent or bring it into the work.
- **Attach** photos, files and short videos. An agent can read documents and say what happens in a video.
- **Files back.** When an agent makes a file, it shows its name and kind in the chat; save or open it from there.

## Drafts you can edit

When an agent writes an email or a Slack message for you, it can show it as a draft card. Edit the text in the card, then **Send** or **Discard**. Nothing goes out until you send it.

## Questions and forms

When an agent needs a decision, it asks with a short question card. When a page on its computer needs something only you can type, like a sign-in or a one-time code, it asks with a form in the chat. You type in the card and the computer fills it in; a password or a code is masked, and the agent never sees what you typed.

## Voice calls

Call an agent and talk to it out loud. It answers in a sentence or two and hands anything that needs doing to its work in the background, while the call goes on. Ask how it's going at any time.

## Slack and Discord

An agent can also have its own Slack app or Discord bot, so your team can message it there and it answers there. You create the bot in Slack or Discord and give Simeon its token.
